Lincolnshire Agricultural Building Conversion

Not every project can be fully shared, and that’s absolutely fine. At Ryland Design, client privacy is always our priority. For this project, the client allowed us to share selected details and images of their stunning transformation.

The brief was to convert an existing agricultural unit into a family home, creating a design that is sensitive to its rural setting while introducing modern elements that will age beautifully and blend into the landscape. Our approach respected the building’s roots while delivering a contemporary, eye-catching aesthetic.

The design features timber cladding, an aluminium roof, subtle light brick banding, and grey-framed windows—a nod to the building’s previous use while establishing a timeless, elegant look. From initial sketches through planning applications and approvals, Ryland Design managed the entire design and planning process, leveraging our expertise in agricultural building conversions.

We then prepared a full technical building regulations package, ensuring compliance without compromising design integrity, and handed over to the contractor with all documentation required to bring this vision to life.
